Acura vehicles do not use fixed mileage intervals. The Maintenance Minder system calculates remaining oil life from real driving conditions and displays a main code (A or B) plus one or more sub-codes (1 through 6). Read them together to know exactly what your vehicle is asking for.

We never pressure a customer into work they don't need, and we don't discount safety items to close a sale. What we do is explain the mechanical consequence, so the decision is yours and it's an informed one. Below is what our technicians see most often when a recommendation gets postponed.
Once friction material is gone, the backing plate scores the rotor. A pad-only job becomes pads, rotors and sometimes a caliper — several times the original repair, plus longer stopping distances on Route 22 in the meantime.
Acura transmissions rely on fluid for clutch-pack friction and cooling. Degraded fluid shows up as shift shudder first and hard-part failure later. A fluid service is routine maintenance; a transmission is a four-figure repair.
Wet stopping distance climbs sharply below 4/32" of tread. Worn tires also cause AcuraWatch and VSA systems to intervene later than designed — the safety tech is calibrated for tires that still grip.
Acura Type 2 coolant carries corrosion inhibitors that deplete over time. Once they're gone, the water pump, thermostat and radiator start corroding from the inside — quietly, until they don't.
A battery that tests marginal in September is a no-start in January. Modern Acura electronics also behave unpredictably on low voltage, throwing warning lights that look like far more expensive problems.
Restricted airflow costs fuel economy and strains the blower motor. The cabin filter is also the only thing between Route 22 traffic exhaust and the air your family breathes in the vehicle.

No — federal law means routine maintenance performed elsewhere does not automatically void your Acura warranty. However, warranty repairs and open safety recalls can only be performed by an authorized Acura dealer, and you must be able to prove that required maintenance was completed on schedule with correct-specification parts and fluids. Servicing at Springfield Acura records the work directly to your VIN, which removes any question at claim time.
Acura's Maintenance Minder combines a main code with sub-codes. "A" means replace engine oil; "B" means replace engine oil and filter plus perform inspections. Sub-code 1 is tire rotation, 2 is air and cabin filters plus drive belt inspection, 3 is transmission fluid, 4 is spark plugs and timing belt, 5 is engine coolant, and 6 is rear differential fluid. So a B12 means oil and filter with inspections, tire rotation, and filter and belt service.
